ARCHIBUS 18.1 UPGRADE
On October 2, 2009, Facilities Informations Systems implemented Archibus Version 18.1.
Our new upgrade provides more customer features including: a new Create Work Request form that provides shop contact information and phone numbers on the overview page; a print friendly Work Request view; a document attachment option; and the ability to submit emergency work requests and scheduled events. In addition, the upgrade allows compatibility with both Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox.
Besides new user views and functionality, other featured options include: the ability to select to recieve emails when your work request status changes; the use of the building floor drawing to select the room code using the Select Drawing option; and the ability to request shop estimate for work requests that require customer and FAM approval before work can begin.
NEW UPGRADE FEATURE
The new mini console and mouse over feature is used on several reports that have been updated to the new 18.1 version including the FAM List and the Building Liaison reports.
The new mouse roll over feature is used when displaying and accessing the filter buttons and the mini console window.
Once a report is opened and the data list displays, use the mouse to roll over one of the column headings (i.e. Building Code); a pop up will appear that includes the expand (plus sign) button and two filter buttons.
By clicking on the expand button, the mini console window will display. Search criteria can then be typed into the available fields.
Click on the arrow down filter button to filter the data list and click the arrow up filter button to clear the filter and return to the original data list.
