Maintenance & Operations


The Maintenance and Operations Division of Facilities Management is comprised of the electrical, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), general services, grounds, automotive, and Zone maintenance departments.



AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Provides management in the daily operation of the maintenance and operation section of Facilities Management.
Project manager for renovation projects; s
chedules the start and completion dates and works with Supervisors in charge on problems encountered during the construction phase.
Works out differences encountered during project meetings; recommends resolutions to problems.
Implements and manages preventive maintenance work orders; recommends updates to supervisors and provides guidance, as needed.


Coordinates emergency repairs, recommends solutions, approves procurement of material to complete repairs.
Provides direction and input on providing customer service.
Reviews daily work orders for accuracy and completeness and assigns correct shop to work orders as required.
Manages the lock and key programs.
Works with supervisors on shop budgets and monitors the monthly reports.
