Space Management

The Architectural Planning team helps maintain the database cataloging all space used by the University.

Space Management Responsibilities:
  • Provide space usage information for University owned and leased buildings
  • Collect building documentation reflecting existing conditions including drawings and specifications
  • Assist users in retrieving building information as needed
  • Conduct an inventory and assess existing space usage
  • Translate requirements into specific space solutions
  • Analyze current space layout to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Assist in the development of programming documents for the design and construction of new space or renovation of existing space
