FM-Facilities Operation's Grounds Department provides a planned program of grounds care. Routine service includes turf maintenance; care of shrubs, plantings and trees; road and walk cleaning and maintenance; snow and ice control and also pest control. The mission of Grounds Crew is to maintin, beautify and repair University facilities which includes 520 acres of intensely developed grounds, 12 miles of roadways, parking facilities (35 lots and 8 decks), and an 85 acre athletic field complex.
Special services available by advance request through the Archibus work request system include moving services, set-ups for special events and other general fund labor support on a limited basis. These services must be requested and scheduled in advance.
