FM Equipment

Beginning January 2010, FIS will host several ongoing monthly meetings involving FM Equipment Data Standards. This new work group includes input from M&O Managers, FIS and Design Services and Housekeeping personnel. Discussion topics will focus upon reviewing and determining Equipment data standards, data flow, Life cycle managmeent of equipment, System Application and reporting for Archibus equipment.

During these meetings, the group will review and discuss FM Equipment standards focused upon:
  • Equipment ID - Standards for labeling the ID that stays with the life of equipment
  • Equipment Categorization - Grouping like types of equipment
  • Data elements needed for maintain reporting requirements from life to death of a equipment;
  • Identification of data fields required to add a equipment to Archibus and
  • Reports needed in relation to Customers, life cycle & cost reporting.
