Contractor remote access into the UNC Charlotte Building Automation Systems is changing. Niagara AX will be switched to LDAP security and will require valid user identification.

Follow these steps to register for a sponsored UNC Charlotte NinerNet user ID.

1. Contact David Champion or Pamela Duff with Facilities Information Systems to get approved for sponsorship.

2. Send account request email to dchampi4@uncc.edu with the following information: (this also applies for account renewals)

• Full name as it appears on Social Security Card
• 800 Number (if known)
• Last 4 of SSN
• date of birth

3. When the registration is completed, an activation request will be sent to your sponsor then forwarded to you for final account activation.
    
4. Download, extract and install the appropriate Cisco VPN Client depending on your operating system.
