Facilities Management Building Environmental Services (BES) Administration is located on the first floor of the Facilities Management/Police and Public Service building on Craver Road.  Our division consists of approximately 172 employees who clean the academic buildings on campus.  We have recently expanded and now provide services to both the new Center City Building in downtown Charlotte and the EPIC building here on the main UNC Charlotte campus.  Our Building Environmental Service Technicians (BEST) work in three shifts, which overlap beginning at 6:00 am each morning and extending around the clock.  A link to both our administrative staff and the Building Environmental Service Supervisors responsible for each individual building zone can be found on the informational bar to the left of this page.  For additional information, please contact our main office at 704-687-0601.

Facilities Management Recycling is also located on the first floor of the FM building.  We have 11 Recycling Technicians that collect recycling from more than 1000 bins per week campuswide.  Last year, we recycled more than two million pounds of material on campus.  For more information, click on "Recycling" in the menu to the left.
