The University’s Inventory Control and Surplus Property (ICSP) department plays an important role within the Materials Management as they are instrumental in the disposition of used goods from the university. ICSP is responsible for picking up unwanted UNCC property from campus departments and redistributing surplus back to University departments as needed. The final responsibility of the department is to sell unwanted goods to the public.
In 2007-2008, ICSP sold or redistributed 10,519 items.
