During the University's Winter Break, buildings will not be heated above 60 F from the evening of Dec 23, 2019 through the evening of Jan 1, 2020.

What to Expect:
-If you are on campus during this period, please be prepared for cooler than normal room temperatures.
-This announcement does NOT apply to residence halls, labs, data centers and research areas.
-The following buildings will be maintained at their normal occupied temperatures: Atkins Library, Burson, Cameron, Cone, Duke, FOPS, Grigg, Police, Portal, Robinson, SAC, Student Health, Student Counseling Center, Student Union, and C-Wing Woodward, Rowe, Johnson Band Center, Police & Public Safety, Housing & Residence Life (Catering not included).

This is a key energy saving practice in accordance with the Campus Energy Policy. Last year's energy reduction allowed the University to save over $28k in energy costs.
