Science Building

The steel erection is underway, along with fireproofing, roof decking and parapet framing. Construction on the RUP and Data Center (part of the Science Building project) continues to progress with the installation of controls and interior finishes. Grading and stone for the service yard is complete. Estimated Completion: Spring 2021

Sycamore Hall Renovation

November 2019
The mechanical equipment is being tested while interior doors and hardware are being installed. The flooring is complete, and telecom cabling and outlets will be completed soon. Estimated Completion: Early 2020

Science Building

November 2019
The first level slab-on-grade pour is beginning and a crane was delivered to begin installing the steel. The RUP and Data Center continues to progress with interior painting, boiler testing and installation of controls. Estimated Completion: Spring 2021

Marriott Hotel and Conference Center

November 2019
Preparation continues for slab on grade installation by roughing in utilities. Construction progresses by backfilling retaining walls and excavating for underground stormwater detention vaults. Estimated Completion: Spring 2021 *This project is led by the Division of University Advancement.

University Recreation Center

The natatorium and exterior landscaping are almost complete; mechanical systems are undergoing testing, balancing and commissioning; and the punch list inspections are underway. Estimated Completion: Early 2020

Sycamore Hall Renovation

Renovations continue to transform this former residence hall into office space. After the flooring is soon complete, doors and other hardware will be installed. Telecom cabling should be complete in the upcoming weeks. Project Completion: Late 2019

Construction of this project continues and is quickly taking shape. Building footings and foundation walls are complete and the installation of steel beams will commence in November. The RUP and Data Center roof and exterior brick is complete. Project Completion: Spring 2021

Construction of the project is taking shape, as workers pour columns and retaining walls, and continue with the foundation of the project. Project completion: Spring 2021 *This project is led by the Division of University Advancement.

University Recreation Center
